London Day 1

Sorry for the delay on finishing up this trip. Lots of pictures to go through and busy getting everyone back to school. So here it goes. I had purchased the London Pass for all three of us for three days that includes admission to many places as well as some transportation. For day one the plan was to visit the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Kensington Palace and if time Windsor Castle. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to Windsor Castle but plan to do that when we return.

So off to the tube station to make our way to the Tower of London. Once down there is it a short walk to the Tower Bridge. The Tower Bridge was a lot of fun. There is an elevator if you are unable to climb the stairs but of course stairs it is. Once to the top you walk across to the other side to go back down. Along the walkway there is a section of glass that you can see the road below. Both places are a must visit in London.

Day two we rode the Uber boat and went to Chinatown, saw Big Ben and went to Westminster Abbey. We also rode out of town to visit a toy store on the hunt for squish mallows.

Our final day would be my favorite as we made it Abbey Road and Abbey Road studios. Below are some highlights of our pre-cruise exploring of London. After the cruise we would go to Portobello Market, Buckingham Palace and the Pug Cafe.
