Travel with Christin

So, Hamburg would end up being our last port since when we left port, we would lose propulsion and have to be tugged back to port for repairs. Due to this we would not make our last port of Gothenburg Sweden and we would end up flying from Hamburg back to London for the rest of our stay. It was an adventure for sure and we will be going back to Gothenburg this summer so we can visit Liseberg Theme Park.

For Hamburg we opted to explore on our own but would need transportation to Hamburg as the ship docks in Kiel which is a little over an hour away. So, we opted to book the Carnival excursion to provide us the transportation. There wasn’t much we wanted to see but the main places were the Beatles Platz and the red-light district. We then opted to eat at a German restaurant for lunch and opted to eat at Franziskaner, which was really good. After a little shopping we would catch the bus to head back to the ship.
