We arrive bright and early in Cozumel and the weather is going to be amazing. We would be in port from 10 to 6 and by the looks of it there will be only 2 ships in port with us, which makes for less crowding. This would be our fourth time in Cozumel, but first for the boys so I decided to make plans to go to Mr. Sanchos.
Mr. Sancho’s is an all-inclusive beach club. They have two pools, showers, bars and food. They also have other activities you can purchase that is not included in the all-inclusive price such as the aqua park, which is a bunch of inflatables in the ocean, parasailing, ATV rides, horseback riding, massages, fish pedicures and jet skis. Since the boys were going, we added the passes to the aqua park which are $20pp for unlimited use.
You can go to Mr. Sancho’s and not do the all-inclusive and just pay as you go for food and drinks, but I have found you get your money’s worth by doing the all-inclusive and you are in a section that is way less crowded. It is a very popular place and fills up if there are a lot of ships in port. So, if you go make sure you get reservations beforehand. There are other places in Cozumel of course as we have been to Chankanaab Park before, but it is more of an adventure park with Sea Lion and dolphin encounters. It is on the waterfront but not all inclusive and has a rock wall at the shoreline, so you have to take steps to get in the ocean. The one thing I did like here though was the snorkeling was slightly better than Mr. Sancho’s. If we return to Cozumel, we plan to try out something different.
We exit the ship and after the walk out of the port we arrive to the taxi stands to get a ride to Mr. Sanchos. The ride is only 15 minutes and cost were $17. When it is time to leave, they have many taxis there waiting to take you back to the port.
Once there we get all checked in, they take you down to the beach front to pick out where you want to sit. We get a table with four chairs and an umbrella right at the shore. In front of that at the water line you have lounge chairs so you can soak up the sun. They bring the menus, and you can eat and drink as much as you want. It has the prices on it for those that may not want to do the all-inclusive and just pay as you go. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp. I had two orders’ as it is my favorite. They are jumbo shrimp that have been butterflies and fried with coconut breading and the sweet dipping sauce is amazing.

While here we enjoyed eating, snorkeling and soaking up the sun. Well really just me soaking up the sun, but the boys enjoyed the aqua park. It makes for a fun relaxing beach day. From past experience however they have amazing massages and really cheap. Better than any from the states.

Once we decided that we had enough fun in the sun we make our way out to catch a taxi back to port. The walk through the port area is rather large with lots of shops and various places to eat. Below is a video of what the port has to offer.
