Mystic Mountain Ocho Rios Jamaica

So after visiting the falls we make our way back to the bus for a short 10 minute ride over to Mystic Mountain. Once there we get checked in with our wristband and proceed to get onto the chairlift, my favorite thing…..not. The chairlift takes you up the mountain and along the way you get a nice view of the ocean and the port in Ocho Rios.

Once we made it to the top of the mountain and waited for the rest of the group to make it up as well we go to our first activity the Bobsled. It was a fun alpine coaster. We have rode one in Pigeon Forge TN before but if the person in front of you slows down it also slows you down. Luck for us as I had the two boys in front of me and Jason behind so it was full speed as you will see on the video. It’s a quick ride but lots of fun.

After the ride we went to ride the Raggamuffin which is a small steel suspended coaster at the side of the mountain. We are rollercoaster junkies so I’m always down to ride a coaster to add to my coaster count, even if it’s not big and fast. However if your up for a good coaster Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point is still my number one.

After riding Raggamuffin we picked up our lunch that was waiting for us. Jerk chicken, rice and beans. Can you say yum, however the best jerk chicken we have ever had was on our honeymoon up in the mountains from a local on our tubing trip. What we had was amazing of course but I haven’t found anyone to top that guy.

We were short on time to we took our food, rode the chairlift back down the mountain to the van for the 2 hour ride back to the ship. It was a fun day and the boys enjoyed it minus the bus ride. Luck for them the next two ports had very little travel time. Next stop Grand Cayman.
