So the first day of our cruise consisted of two sea days before our first port of call Montego Bay Jamaica 🇯🇲. So one big thing on Carnival now is hiding rubber ducks for others to find. Of course we took a bunch for the boys to hide but I had something different. On our past cruise back in February a lady had made resin magnets to hide which I found really cute. I never found any bummer but decided to make my own and take some along to hide.

So I hide a few each day, the boys hide the ducks and then we participated in a cabin gift exchange with our FB group. It was our first time doing so but saw it done on our February cruise and thought I would give it a try. There were 11 cabins participating with a total of 21 people participating as most cabins both people participated except on and the 21 included ourselves which meant I had 19 gifts to buy. Gift value was suppose to be $3 so I went to what else the dollar tree. For our gifts we were giving I got a cup with lid, small travel sunscreen, of course 2 of my magnets and a rubber duck and some candy.
It was so much fun throughout the week to come back to you cabin with a gift bag hanging on the door. I should have taken a picture of it all but we received chair clips, reusable compact shopping bag, shot glass, rooster socks, corn on the Cobb holders, downy release spray, travel tissue, little bottles of hot sauce, keychains ducks and anchor ones, candy, drink koosie, mardi gra beads…hello New Orleans 😀, and I’m sure there was more but can’t think of it all. It was really fun and would definitely do it again.
So for this cruise I was a slacker when it came to documenting the sea day and happenings on the ship. I will do better next cruise. I use to take pictures of our food and everything in the past but once you have been so many times you fail to do it. The one thing I did document was my time in the casino. I always play roulette but decided to play slots at least once so figure I will use $100 of my allotted money and this happens.

So at this point I’m up $2,100 for the trip. I typically don’t play slots as I have bad luck on the cruise. So next up our first port of call Jamaica 🇯🇲
