Travel with Christin

Finally getting around to blogging our last cruise with the boys last month. So we chose to cruise out of New Orleans on the Carnival Glory May 14-21 with stops at Montego Bay Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

Since the boys were traveling we booked two separate rooms. The interior under my free offer with Josiah and a oceanview under Jason with his free offers with Gavin in his room. So we only had to pay port taxes and fees. Then onboard I’ll explain how to switch people to different rooms.

So as usual we always fly to our cruise destination the day before. We use skymiles to pay for our flights and having used a chunk of the miles for Europe this month we had to find the best bang for our miles especially for four of us.

So we ended up booking a flight leaving from Atlanta to New Orleans for over less then halve of what we would have to use out of Charlotte. Also anyone that knows when you fly somewhere from Charlotte you have to change planes in Atlanta. Our flight was scheduled for Saturday May 13 at 1:27 so we didn’t have to leave extremely early that morning for the drive. Up next our travel to Atlanta, hotel stay and cruise day.
