Wow so much planning to see what all London has to offer. Luckily we have three full days before the cruise and one and a half days after to see as much as we can. What I did learn is getting the London City Go Pass is the way to go. For a three day pass it is $650 total for the three of us but it includes so many admission fees to varies places.
For the three full days here is the list of places we will visit that are included with the pass. Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St.Paul’s Cathedral, Kensington Palace, 1 day pass on the Uber Boat which we will utilize one day for transportation. One of the boat stops is across the street from our apartment 🙌🏼. A one day pass on the hop on hop off bus tour. Also utilizing for transportation. Westminster Abbey, the Queens Gallery at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and the Changing of The Guard tour. The pass covers many other options but none that fully interested me.
Other places we will visit include Big Ben, Buckingham Palace which has a separate admission fee, Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown London, Notting Hill, Portobello Market, Camden Market, Houses of Parliment, a couple vintage record stores and most importantly a 3 hour Beatles tour.
I really want to visit Liverpool England but just not enough time and our youngest son has expressed wanting to go to Wales so….. guess I will be planning a cruise to Ireland which also stops in Liverpool for his graduation. I can’t wait to plan that trip in a couple years and also can’t wait to share this journey as we go along.
Next step is finalizing our plans for each cruise stop.
