Travel with Christin

With the cruise booked it’s all down to figuring out transportation and of course what we will be doing at all the ports. We typically fly to all our cruises the day before as it’s easier, faster and most of the time we use airline miles so of course cheaper. I still haven’t nailed down our flight but I will say this is the one thing I put Jason in charge of. I will usually research to find the best deal and then just have him book it. Rule of thumb is the earlier you book the cheaper it is and also Tuesday is usually the go to time to book. This applies to hotels as well as they raise the rates during the weekends. My plans differ at different airports when it comes to getting to our hotel but 90% of the time we just us Lyft. My go to hotel for New Orleans is Harrahs. The main reason being is I am a Caesar’s Diamond Plus member so usually get my room’s comped which means free for me score 🙌🏼. It’s also super close to the port and a short 10 minute walk. Tomorrow I will dive into the port of Cozumel. What we will be doing and of course various other options that are fun as well.
